Isle of Wedmore Society

 The Society has the aim of promoting care for the beautiful and attractive features of the Parish of Wedmore by encouraging good planning in character with the locality.

 

A series of illustrated talks is given each year in the Masonic Hall on a variety of subjects followed by coffee or tea and biscuits. Membership is open to all. A subscription pays for hire of the hall, speakers fees and refreshments.

Wedmore young farmers club is for young people with in the community to get involved in farming and having fun.

In Wedmore YFC we do Stock judging, Sports, Public speaking, Different events like discos and bingos.

You don’t have to be a farmer to be in young farmers you can be someone who just wants to join the club to get involved and have fun.
