Closure of the Fingerpost Project

This is the last of the fingerposts situated in West End to be repaired and placed back in situ.

The livery is as it would have been in 1933, having been made in Mark Foundry circa 1897.

The work was undertaken by Somerset Forge, which has done a quite superb job on this one.

However huge thanks are due to David Ewens who has personably driven this project from concept to completion. What a difference it makes to Wedmore, thank you David.
