The George Inn

The George Inn is an ancient Coaching Inn and one of the oldest buildings in Wedmore.

Our philosophy is to provide our customers with the high standards expected of modern living whilst retaining the character of a true Coaching Inn.

We open all day from midday with roaring log fires in the winter and a lovely sunny garden, with childrens play area in the summer.

We offer excellent food and drinks, sourced locally wherever possible and have three luxury double letting rooms.

We also cater for Weddings, Parties and Functions and hold a Civil Ceromony License.
