Brush up your CV

Anyone over eighteen can play an important part in their community by giving a little time each week as a trustee of a charity. It is this sort of community spirit that shines out from a CV and indicates the author of it has that bit extra employers are looking for.

Here, then, is a chance for a budding altruist as Wedmore Village Hall needs a new Booking Secretary .We are looking for a responsible, computer literate volunteer who is able to check bookings made by email. Bookings have to be processed for fee collection and the calendar on our website (www.wedmorehall.org.uk) has to be kept up to date. There will be occasional telephone enquiries but most processing can be done at the secretary’s convenience. There are also committee meetings every two months but nothing of an arduous nature.

If you think you might be able to contribute why not ring our existing bookings secretary, Kate Bennett on 713585 (after 6 pm.) and have a chat. She is more than willing to work with the new secretary for as long as it takes.
