Blagdon Scouts sold Christmas trees last weekend to raise funds for their future activities
The sale was made possible thanks to local company Somerlap, which has been selling trees to the Scouts at cost price for over 20 years. This year Somerlap supplied 30 trees to the Scouts.
Somerlap’s Managing Director Kevin Bond said, “We were delighted to offer our annual festive support to Blagdon Scouts, to help them raise funds to carry on their good work for young people. This year our trees came from a new supplier, Secret Valley, who grow them on the edge of the Quantock Hills. Don’t worry if you missed out on one from Blagdon Scouts, as Somerlap are selling them at our site in Mark too.
