For some time Sedgemoor voluntary groups have not applied for as much funding from the BIG Lottery as other areas. The Lottery approached our local VCS organisation SPARK to offer funding ring fenced for Sedgemoor. Details can be found at www.sparksomerset.org.uk/fund
As a result of extra funding from SDC, Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council and Bridgwater Town Council SPARK has employed an officer one day per week called Jemma Coles to help groups through the application process and making their pitch to present to the Lottery at the Funding Den. This event will be held at the Princess Theatre Burnham on Sea during the evening of Tuesday 30th January 2017.
