Warm in Wedmore will be running again this year at the Masonic Hall, every
Wednesday and Thursday (with a Christmas break) from 6 December.
Building on last winter’s success we are looking forward to another season of
friendly company and home-made soup to lift our spirits during the winter gloom.
Please all join in and actively encourage and inspire everyone you know to come down.
We all have friends and neighbours who tuck themselves away in winter – invite them,
and better still, offer them a lift.
Each ‘week’ will be hosted by a different village club or group (Men’s Shed, Green
Wedmore, Wedmore Good Neighbours, and others) so you may find yourselves actively
involved.
The event is organised by a cheery conglomerate including Wedmore Health
& Wellbeing, St Mary’s Church, The Parish Council, The Isle of Wedmore Good
Neighbours and Wedmore Community Power Co-op. (A particularly big shout-out to
the Power Co-op who are again paying for the rental of the Masonic Hall)
If you’d like to spend a few hours warming yourself, inside and out, but need
transport, then contact Wedmore Good Neighbours on 01934 806299.
