Somerset Choral Society is pleased to announce that their Spring Term programme of communal rehearsals began on Wednesday 5 January 2022 and is continuing each week;
subject to the Government Covid Regulations prevailing at the time.
Somerset Choral Society continues to rehearse every Wednesday evening from
7.30 pm to 9.30 pm in their new rehearsal home at Cheddar Roman Catholic Church
Community Hall, Tweentown, BS27 3HU. The music this term is the much loved
‘Rutter Requiem’ and ‘Stanford’s Songs of the Fleet’ in preparation for the Spring
Concert in St Cuthbert’s Church, Wells at 7.30 pm on Saturday 21 May 2022.
New members from all voices (SATB) will be welcomed to join them for these two beautiful
pieces; there are no auditions and scores are provided. Membership fees will remain at
£55 for this spring term and will include one ticket for the concert. More information
