Once again we are asking you to support this long-standing community opera group. We rely on this support to enable us to put on professional, high quality performances with an amateur chorus from enthusiastic local singers supported by professional musicians and soloists.
This Summer’s production will be:
A Passport to Greece
when you will be able to sample exciting music whilst enjoying culinary delights (by local chef Nick Armitage) with Wedmore Opera on the 12th and 13th July. To further whet your appetite the evening will include a taster of our
2020 production of Orpheo and Euridice.
Every penny counts and every donation is hugely appreciated. We raise as much as possible from ticket sales and advertising in our programme, and we hold fundraising events and make applications for small grants. We also rely on generous donors, with three categories designed to suit all pockets. A donation will guarantee you priority booking, Cavalleria Rusticana sold out last year more than a week before the performances.
