Description
The Society, founded in 1962, has the aim to promote interest in and care for the conservation, beauty and attractive features of the Parish of Wedmore, by encouraging good planning in character with the locality.
A series of illustrated talks is given each year in the Masonic Hall (just left of the Chemist's shop) on a variety of subjects, including those related to the Parish, followed by tea or coffee & biscuits. Membership is open to all.
An annual subscription pays for hire of the hall, speakers’ fees and refreshments.
Meetings are 8 times a year on the 4th Thursday of January to May and September to November 7.30-900.
