Wedmore Harvest Home – 16 August
Tickets are now available for Wedmore Harvest Home featuring the traditional luncheon and 80’s themed evening entertainment.
Cheddar Flower Show – 16 August
The 40th anniversary Cheddar Flower Show, which will be held at Cheddar Village Hall.
Cemetery Clear Up – 23 August
A community tidy-up day will be held at Wedmore Cemetery on the Cheddar Road to help keep this special place somewhere we’re proud of.
Music for a Summer’s Evening – 24 August
The Bristol Brass Consort will be performing at a free concert, with a retiring collection, at St. John the Baptist Church in Axbridge.
Sand Cider Festival – 29 and 30 August
Now in its 12th year, Sand Cider Festival returns for a weekend of live music, family fun, food, and activities, in support of Wedmore Scouts.
Peal at St. Mary’s Church – 30 August
A team of visiting bell ringers of will be attempting to ring a full peal on the bells at St. Mary’s Church.
Wedmore 40/30 Cycling Event – 31 August
Featuring distances for all abilities, a family-friendly 12-mile route, a brand new 30-
mile route, and the more challenging 40- and 70-mile routes. Registration now open!
