The Help the Child committee members received a donation cheque of £7,899 from Mr. Tony Monnington of the NFU Mutual. The money will help the charity purchase specialist equipment for children in Somerset.

Help the Child was established in 1987 and is a charity that seeks to raise funds to assist Somerset children with disabilities in reaching their full potential by providing items of specialist equipment. Their disability might be physical or they may have additional needs, such as sensory impairment and/or learning difficulties.
