Wedmore 40/30 Charity Bike Ride

Wedmore  40/30 Charity Bike Ride

Registration is open for the Wedmore 40/30 on Bank Holiday Sunday, 30 August.
We are hoping to beat the record 320 who turned out last year!

The routes have been refreshed and revised this year and are set up for every ability level.

There is a 12-mile route which is a fun, family-friendly, beginner pedal.

Then we have the 30-miler, which is on quiet, flat roads across the beautiful Somerset Levels.

For the more adventurous, we have the 40-mile route, a slightly tougher, scenic climb into the Mendip Hills. Or why not combine these and do the full 70 miles of the 40/30, the ultimate challenge for regular cycling enthusiasts!

Every ticket sold directly helps Weston Hospicecare continue providing free, expert palliative care across Sedgemoor and North Somerset. Enter today at www.westonhospicecare.org.uk/event/wedmore-40-30

A very big thank-you to our sponsors:
Sunlit Solar for the medals;
Wedmore Dental Practice for help with the new signage;
Bicycle Chain, who will be supplying maintenance support at the start and finish;

Somerset Larder for the splendid spread that awaits returning riders.

Thanks in advance to the big team who set up the routes and help with registration, car parking and the welcome back. Last, but not least, our thanks to Wedmore Playing Fields Association for the splendid venue and to Nick and his team at the Post and Wicket for everything else!
David Hopkins
