- Pop-Up Proms at St. Mary’s Church – 6 September On Friday 6 September at 7.00 pm bring your flags, balloons and silly hats to Wedmore’s ‘Pop-Up’ version of the Last Night of the Proms.
- Crook Peak Music Festival 2024 – Churches around Crook Peak will be hosting a series of early evening concerts, every Tuesday in September, from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
- 80th Theale Show – 7 September Running every year since D-Day, the 80th Theale Show will take place on Saturday. - Wedmore Guides Jumble Sale – 14 September Wedmore Guides will be running their annual Jumble Sale in Wedmore Village Hall on Saturday 14 September. See details in the News section.
- Wedmore Real Ale Festival – 13 to 15 September
The ever-popular Wedmore Real Ale Festival will take place this year from 13 to 15 September. - Churches Together – Finishing Well – 21 September
from 9.15 am to 12.30 pm at Cheddar Village Hall, there will be an event addressing questions about the end of life and funerals. Further details are in the Church News section. - Freecycle – Sunday 22 September Freecycle returns to the village car park from 10.00 am. Clear out your lofts, sheds and garages and come along to find new homes for your unwanted items.
- Wedmore Friends of Weston Hospicecare – big Drop and Jigsaw Sale – 28 September From 9.30 am to 12.30 pm at Wedmore Village Hall. Please bring any items that you would like to donate to the Weston Hospicecare. Also, come along and buy a jigsaw.
