REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION IN SOMERLAP BREAK-IN
A local business which suffered a break-in over the Easter weekend has offered a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprits.
Somerlap in Mark, a key local employer, was broken into overnight between Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd April. The thieves broke into the joinery workshop and stole hand tools and cordless equipment, along with some garden equipment, a picnic set, gates, and a few other items. Now Somerlap is offering a £1,000 reward for any information which helps the police to arrest and convict those responsible.
Kevin Bond, Managing Director of Somerlap, said, “We were devastated to find that we had had a break-in. We recently installed a new CCTV system which has provided clear images of the offenders and a van which was used to load the stolen goods. Although the police are confident that they will be identified, we are appealing to anyone with information to contact the police.”
If you have any information which could help, call 101 quoting reference 5221070433.
Alternatively, ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. They never tell the police who you are, just what you know.
