How about getting together to see an entertaining and classic film,
with free tea and biccies thrown in? Wedmore Theatre is inviting a small
group of people to come and see a stunning movie – starring Kenneth
Branagh and Emma Thompson – on Sunday 7 January.
The film also stars Richard Briers, Keanu Reeves, Denzel Washington, Michael Keaton and Kate the Daily Mail reviewed it as ‘A delicious sexy romp’, whilst the Daily
Telegraph billed it as ‘Enormous Fun’. What could it possibly be?
It’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, Shakespeare’s beloved romantic romp that has
never been more fun than in Academy Award Winner Kenneth Branagh’s electrifying
adaptation featuring an all-star cast.
We are offering this opportunity to see this amazing film, completely free of charge because we plan to stage the play next June in Wedmore Village Hall, and we thought we’d invite all those who think they might be interested in getting involved in the production – either taking a role onstage or helping behind the scenes with costumes, make-up, stage management etc – to come along and watch the film on Sunday 7 January at 4.30 pm, to see what they think.
