A 7 year old from Wedmore is cycling 100 miles over two days to raise awareness for the world wildlife foundation.
Audrey Newton, age 7, wants to save the planet! With her Christmas money she bought a book about Greta Thunberg and felt inspired to help! Audrey loves to cycle and wanted to cycle to her grandparents in Hereford. It is 100 miles away and Audrey thought it would be a great way to raise awareness and if she can raise money then that would be a bonus!
During lockdown Audrey has been training hard and her longest ride to date is 42 miles.
The day of the ride is the 14th August – 15th August. Audrey will cycle to Cheddar and then onto the Strawberry Line, through the docks to go over the old bridge and have a night’s rest in Chepstow. The next day is the hilly ride to Hereford!
