A blockbusting 12 months for Screen Somerset

Film and television production in Somerset reached nearly £3 million last year, with major shoots in locations like Cheddar Gorge and Minehead, supported by Somerset Council’s film office, Screen Somerset.

This includes an estimated £2.8 million from high-end TV shows and feature films, significantly up from £1.1 million in the 2023-24 financial year.

LandAlive, a major new regenerative farming conference, has just released its speaker line-up, which includes over 50 leading practitioners and experts in nature-friendly farming and sustainable food.

The event, at the Bath & West Showground, Somerset, on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 November, offers 2 days of talks and a full-scale exhibition showcasing the latest innovations, services and support to help farmers negotiate the transition towards more environmentally sustainable ways of farming.

Do one thing – get on the HMRC app
