Film and television production in Somerset reached nearly £3 million last year, with major shoots in locations like Cheddar Gorge and Minehead, supported by Somerset Council’s film office, Screen Somerset.
This includes an estimated £2.8 million from high-end TV shows and feature films, significantly up from £1.1 million in the 2023-24 financial year.
